The London Music School, formally MI London (sister school to M.I.LA, The Musicians Institute Hollywood, Los Angeles, arguably the best modern music school in the world) was founded in 1984 and is now the most established modern music school in London. LMS has two Pro-Tools recording studios one of which is based at our commercial studios - The London Recording Studios. LRS is situated in Osborn St, the South end of Brick Lane. This studio was formally Trevor Horn's Sarm East Studios, and these premises are steeped in history: Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody was written over a four-day period in the studio; Madonna, Grace Jones and Frankie Goes To Hollywood have all recorded there. It’s a great place to start recording!
